New Job

Today I was offered and I accepted the position with Boise Fire Admin. From the start, I really did not think I impressed the interview panel enough to actually get a second interview, let alone the actual position. But I did! I start next Tuesday, the 26th. The only bad part is that I won't be getting an extra time off this year during the holidays (low seniority) so it doesn't look like I'll be headed back to CA for either holiday. I was pretty bummed about that, but I'm trying to be optimistic about the job overall. It has great benefits, more pay, and a good retirement program, should I choose to stay there a long time. I'm praying this new endeavor will work out and I'll at least learn some valuable new accounting tools.
