The Christmas Season

This weekend Jason and I decorated the house and finally got our Christmas tree. This is my absolute favorite time of the year, and we've already had snow here in Boise, so it really feels like winter.
This is my dining room table this year...with so many PartyLite decorations, it's sometimes hard to pick out my table centerpiece. (Sorry for the fuzzy pics - I was trying to hurry! Where did this weekend go??)

Jason put up the lights today, and it's hard to see, but we have a little Santa under one of the house lights, and snowmen along the walkway. Good deals at Lowe's!

And of course, the Christmas tree. We wanted a silver tip this year, but I don't think Idaho brings them in, so we couldn't find any. The angel we have is a bit top heavy, so it didn't quite work. Hopefully we'll be able to find another one.

So far Rusty and Sophie have both been really good about the tree. Rusty thinks the tree skirt is just another place for him to lay down - surprise, surprise!

I'm really looking forward to our trip home. I still have to invest in some chains, since I'm sure it will be snowing somewhere along the route we are taking. Don't worry, Sis - we'll drive safely!

Well, not the best pictures but I will have to be satisfied with them. I am sad that I am not decorating this year but at least I can look at your pictures, are the pinguins cute? I havent even got them out of their box yet.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes the camera acts up. Yes, the penguins are cute; I have them at work, along with my candy cane jar. Do you at least have your little barrel jars out?
