Last night was the season premiere of one of my favorite shows - American Idol! Last season was actually the first time I had followed the season from beginning to end, thanks to my sister and a friend from the winery I used to work at.
I love watching the beginning of the season and making fun of the people who actually think they have a chance and are good singers. (I know, it sounds cruel, but we all do it!) And the judges reactions are just hysterical!
For the auditions in Minneapolis, they had Jewel as a guest judge, and as much as I love her singing, I don't think she made a good judge at all! She really didn't have any enthusiasm, even with the few people who had very good voices. I just thought she was a little dry.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching again tonight, when they will be showing auditions from Seattle.

Yeah, you watch Idol too!!! That makes me happy!!! I love the funny, bad clips, but I can't wait till the good people are up. That's my favorite!!
That's my favorite part, too - I wanted Chris to win SO bad last year. I LOVE his new song - have you heard it yet?
