To Taste, or not to taste...

With the recommendation of family members and a lot of prayer, I contacted a law office today regarding the nerve damage that was done during my tonsillectomy. I just sent an informative email to the lawyer who responded to my inquiry, and once he reviews it, he will let me know whether or not I have a case.
I've always been very much against suing for any reason whatsoever, but in some respects I think I was naive because I had never been in a sympathetic situation. Until something happens to you, you never really know what it's like. I really don't want this to happen to anyone else under this doctor's care, especially little kids.
On one hand, I think - wow, it's just half of my taste, it's not that big of a deal - I don't need it anyway. But on the other hand - wow, I can't enjoy my own birthday cake, my favorite dessert, that big juicy piece of pineapple, fonduing on my anniversary...
I'm praying that if this continues forward, I will have made the right decision for myself and those other patients.

I think it's a good idea Trisha. It's right to think of other people too, you don't want it to happen to them. It doesn't sound like it's about the money, but the principle. Let us know!

Thanks, Sis. I appreciate the encouragement. I'll let you know when I hear back from the lawyer.
