Happy Valentine's Day!
This is the time of year we typically go out to a nice, expensive fondue dinner, but since we're poor this year, Jason is making me Italian tonight - pasta, bread, salad, wine - the whole works! Yum! Although we're not doing gifts, I left him a few goodies this morning before I left for work - Dove Chocolates - one of his favorites. Oh, and some Valentine's Day Peeps, too, which I think are disgusting, but to each his own.
I finally feel almost back to my normal self after over a week with the flu. I haven't been that sick since well before my tonsil surgery last March, so I guess it was my time, but still - it knocked me on my butt (or should I say on my back, since I spent most of the time in bed sleeping!)
Since I spent this past weekend resting, we will continue our vehicle search this coming weekend. Last week Jason went to Barnes & Noble and bought a Consumer Report magazine that lists every 2007 model of car you can think of. It lists MSRP, Dealer Invoice Pricing, Ratings, Options, etc. Tons of good information!
Since we already test-drove the Toyota Rav4, our search has been narrowed down to 5 others:
The Dodge Nitro, which I've mentioned before
The Chevy Trailblazer
The Honda Pilot
The Chrysler Aspen
And last, but not least, the Saturn Outlook
I'm excited to do some more test-drives. I've never actually bought a brand new car before (well, except for Jason's truck, but that doesn't really count since it's not "my" car) And since we have the time, I think it's great that we're doing all of the research now so we know exactly what we want. Wish us luck!

They all look good. Jeremy's friends mom bought a Rav4 and loves it. You should really try to get zero intrest, all those companies offer it at some point. Such a better deal!
Yeah, I'm hoping for a good deal with zero interest around Labor Day. Jason has a whole plan, though, so we'll see what kind of deal we can get. :)
