Everyday Life

So I know you've been waiting to see all of the cute pet pictures I took. I emailed them to my work address last night, but when I opened my email this morning, they weren't there! urgh. I will have to post them tonight when I get home.

Our weekend was pretty eventful. It was spring cleaning time! We rented a steam cleaner and Jason cleaned the carpets. We cleaned the kitchen cabinets, the appliances, the baseboards throughout the house, cobwebs, etc. It feels really good to have a clean house.

I was very impressed with Window Wizards last week. The guys came and cleaned the blinds and the windows - inside and out, in less than 2 hours! And they did a fabulous job. I will most likely be using their services again.

Book Club was fun, as usual. We decided to change gears a bit and go for a different kind of story, so this month we will be reading Midwives. I haven't started it yet; I've been trying to finish The Time Traveler's Wife, which Steph let me borrow a while ago. I'm almost done, and I can't believe he's going to die! I'm not really looking forward to that part....

I'm batching it again this week, but I don't mind as much as I used to in the beginning. Jason has been working long hours and getting in a good amount of overtime, so we can start saving up to make the trip out to Omaha in May!

I'm feeling a bit burnt out at work lately. Yesterday marked my 6-month anniversary - can you believe it's already been 6 months?! Time flies. Anyway, I am ready for a little vacation, so I'm really looking forward to May and visiting Steph and Jeremy. If Jason doesn't get to go, he already said I could fly out there, so I checked on United yesterday, and flights are only $265, roundtrip! I thought that was pretty good.

Workouts are going really well. Wednesday we're going to try a pilates/yoga type video. I've never done anything like that before, and I'm a little nervous because I'm not that great with my balance these days, but I'll give anything a shot! I'm getting better with the ball, so I know it just takes practice.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Wow, thats alot. It sounds like you and Steph have both just taken to the places you chose to settle. I am happy for you guys. A book club sounds fun but with teaching cooking class and a weekly Bible study I don't know how I could fit in anything new. Take Care.

You too! :)
