Okay, so a lot has already happened since my last post! I got home last night and there was a message for Jason on the answering machine from a lady with CM Company, a local commerical construction company. She wanted to talk to Jason about a superintendent position! Wow! God works in mysterious ways...
So anyway, he called her back and had a phone interview with her this morning. He said he thought it went pretty well. They are looking to hire someone within the next 2-3 weeks, and will be calling back any applicants they want to interview in person. Makes for a sticky situation since he's out on an island right now, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Speaking of the island....poor Jason. He says his room is like a jail cell; it's only 7-feet wide, with a 3-foot wide bathroom. Apparently it's not a real motel; basically it's a bunch of double-wide trailers that were converted into rooms for which they charge $100 per night! Crazy! This is the cheapest place to stay on the island, which is why they are there instead of a "real" motel. He says it reminds him of San Francisco; they walk to work downhill, and guess what that means? After a 10+ hour day at work, they get to walk back uphill to get back to the "motel." He doesn't sound happy at all, and my heart goes out to him. He's really hoping to get a call back from CM, so please keep him in your prayers!

I hope Jason gets the job I know it is hard to have him away so much. I remember just the short time Joe was long hauling and how hard it was.
You didn't tell me any of this today! How awful! I sure wouldn't be staying there. yuck! Lets hope for a job!
