The one thing I HAVE to have

It's only been one night, but it's the one kitchen appliance I can't live without - my dishwasher! As I was unloading dishes last night, I discovered a nice bubble in the floor right next to it. After Jason pulled the dishwasher out, sure enough, there was a dark spot where water had been leaking. How long you ask? That's a good question... a week, a month, the whole time we've lived there? Jason found the leak and (hopefully) repaired it with some caulking glue. It sat overnight to dry, so hopefully that small fix will work. As for the floor...don't know yet about that one. He says it might dry out on it's own, or he may have to replace the floor around that area. For a fairly brand new appliance, it sure didn't last very long. But he thinks it may have been damaged when it was installed. Great.
Feeling pretty good this week, minus the usual state of tiredness. I'm almost officially to my second trimester (next Tuesday it will be official!). I went to Motherhood Maternity on Monday night - new bras were desperately needed. I only bought 2, since they only had 2 in my "new" size. But that doesn't get you very far into the week, especially since they are hand-wash only!
I've been exercising more, since I feel a little better, and it's interesting how my body is just so much more sensitive! I feel like an old lady who has a hard time getting up off of the ground! And I'm sure it will only get better! :)

It seems like nothing lasts anymore no matter if you buy it new or not. We bought a water heater a year and a half ago and it is pretty much trashed. I hope your floor dries out. I can believe you are already at your 2nd trimester it seems like you just called to tell us. Time flies when your having fun.

That stinks! Mom says you should call the insurance cause it should count as a "flood." Jeremy's parents had their fridge leak and they got a whole new floor. Mom and I are looking for baby clothes every chance we get, this is the quote for the week. "We WISH we knew what it was!!" I'm sure it will get worse as you get bigger but hey, you'll have a great little bundle of joy at the end! Even if you never sleep!

Just think, though - only about 7 more week until I WILL know what it is!!! Yay!!
Really? A flood? That seems over the top...

I don't know about a flood either, but I am sure your homeowner's or appliance insurance (if you have that) would have some sort of coverage. You DEFINITELY don't want that moist wood to mold!

I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby either!
