Selling our truck

Planning for the baby is now presenting a whole list of things to think about and prepare for. (I know, we've barely just begun!)
I'm not very happy about the decision, but we are no longer getting a Trailblazer. The plan is to keep the car and sell the truck. Jason doesn't use it much now that he has a company truck he drives to and from work everyday, and we always use the car to go out and do errands on the weekends. Plus, it would be one less bill to pay every month, and less insurance, too.
It's worth more than we owe on it, but I'm always skeptical of selling vehicles outright; who has $15,000 just sitting around, ready to spend on a used truck? Most people want to finance, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes, if it sells at all. Wish us luck!

I wouldn't worry about it sis, people get loans for private cars all the time. If it was a 4x4 we would buy it! Just advertise it well and it should go.

Thanks for the encouragement! :)
I know; if it were a 4-wheel, we would be keeping it just for snowy weather!

We have always had luck selling cars privately. People alot of times want to avaid car salesmen and they are looking for something specific used so it is easier to go private.

Plus you get more money selling private rather than trade in!
