Labor Day Weekend

Last week was pretty much spent cleaning and getting the house ready for our company this past weekend. Jason's parents, aunt, uncle and cousin all came out from Sacramento to visit for the weekend. We had fun, as we always do. They got in around 1:30am Friday, and we all had a nice wake-up call around 6am that morning... ALL of our fire alarms went off! I now know what it's like to wake up in the middle of the night, totally freaked out. Luckily, it was just a battery that was dying. Unfortunately, when that happens, it sets them ALL off. Ugh.
I had to come in to work for a few hours on Monday, even though it was my day off. Payroll was due this morning, which didn't allow much time for me to process it, and since I was already WAAAAYYY behind, I had to. (I've been testing my new payroll system for the past 3 weeks, which caused me to fall behind!) I was freaking out last night around 5pm when my transfer from one system to another lost around 200 transactions - I thought I was going to be here all night! But today brought better things. :)
Guiness had his first experience with puppy class last Thursday. He liked all of the owners, and NONE of the other puppies! I thought after a little while he would warm up to them, considering he lives with another dog, but nope - he proceeded to start nipping and chasing them away if they came near him! I hope he does better with the socialization this week...
I officially wore my first maternity outfit on Sunday. Unfortunately, both the top and bottom are way too big, but I've pretty much grown out of most of my clothes - and still no pudge to show for it! Now I just look really fat, which is no fun, and kinda depressing!

Trisha, I'm sure you look great!!! I bet you're just glowing with pregnancy, and there is no pudge. And remember, this is the one time in your life its okay to gain weight. So be happy with that!!! You'll lose it afterwards. Promise.

Baby bump, baby bump, yeah! I wish we could shop together, or I wish I knew what kind of clothes you would wear! We have tons of stuff here, post pictures!

Nope, not glowing, just looking tired and fat! (And yet I keep indulging in the occasional chicken nugget meal at McDonald's....)
And Chris - that's easy for you to say. You looked exactly the same except your belly! You couldn't even tell if you were looking at you from behind!
As soon as I get the bump, as sis likes to call it, I will post pictures. :)
