It's a BOY!

So by now everyone knows that the ultrasound revealed a baby boy! It's so exciting to finally know what it is, and yes Jason, you were right all along! :)
Above is the bedding we are going to register for at Babies 'R' Us - except we're going to go with darker furniture. They have a border that you can buy that matches the set, so I'm going to pick some up this weekend and start planning the colors for Jason to paint the room.
I'm planning on spending MANY hours registering this weekend, too.... I just hope Jason doesn't get cranky or too burnt out. Keep your fingers crossed!
The really cool part about the ultrasound yesterday was that they put it onto a DVD for us! If I can figure out how to do it, I'm going to try to edit some of it and post it on the blog. It's so cool how they can tell you all about the different body parts and if they are developing properly.
The technician mentioned that she was going to measure the stomach next, and Jason made a comment that is was going to be big (considering his parents and all!). Sure enough, he was in the 94th percentile, just for his tummy alone! Wow, I can't even imagine how big he will be when he's born - I hope he decides not to come late!!

I like the bedding with a darker color. Are you actually going to paint the walls a color? How exciting! I can't wait, I wanted to buy some clothes today but held off!

I love the nursery theme!!! That is totally cute. I saw that online and I was wondering if that was it. I love it.

Yes, we're actually painting the walls with color! Can you believe it? Jason actually said yes to this one. :)
I'm thinking maybe a really light blue would look good with the dark cherry wood furniture.... I'm not sure that I want the WHOLE room to be painted, but at least 2 walls. Still thinking about it.

I think maybe a very light yellow would look good with the blue.....two walls one color, two the other. You can always leave the celing white too.
