3rd Trimester!

I am officially there! The last 13 weeks have begun! Even though it's the home stretch, I will probably experience some more of the "less" fun things - more going to the bathroom (is that possible?!), more being uncomfortable, less sleep, swollen feet/hands (got the fingers down already, can't even wear my rings!), and all of that fun stuff! But pretty soon I will be able to hold my baby boy - wow!

Here's my latest picture. Jason says my boobs are looking small compared to my belly - thanks, honey!

This week your baby weighs about 2.3 lbs and is about 14.4 inches long with his legs extended. He can now open and close his eyes, and he sleeps and wakes at regular intervals. He may suck his fingers, and although his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with assistance — if he were to be born prematurely. Chalk up any rhythmic movement you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and isn't bothersome to him, so enjoy the tickle. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now.

Oh, and I have to say... Anthony has a LOT of hiccups these days! :)
