Baby News

We officially turned in our registration for Anthony's day care this week, so he has a spot for May! He will be going to a place called Nature's Childcare, which is really close to our house, and is technically in Meridian. It's the same place I mentioned in my blog last week. I think he'll do well there, assuming I can let him go that first day! We were talking to the director last week, and he was telling us about a new mom who dropped off her son the first day, and stayed for 2 hours crying - she couldn't leave him! She finally left, only to call and check on him 20 minutes later! So heartbreaking! I'm hoping I can do better than that. :)
I found out yesterday that some friends at work are throwing me a baby shower! How sweet! It's going to be on February 9th, so plenty of time before he comes.
Jason and I are starting our "Childbirth Preparation" classes tonight. The class runs for 4 weeks, every Wednesday from 6:30 - 9pm. I'm just hoping I can stay alert for that long! Usually by 9pm I'm winding down and getting ready to head upstairs to bed (yes, I lead a very exciting life right now!) I've been training a girl to help with payroll while I'm gone, and I swear that's more tiring than just doing the actual work myself! But I guess I did last until 10pm last Friday night at a scrapbook event, so I'm sure I can make it. :)

Im so happy that you found a daycare for Anthony. And im sure the first couple of days will be hard but it will always get better especially if you feel like he is safe and cared for. :) Glad you guys are going to classes, they can be fun and have lots of info, especially for the daddy that isnt having to carry the baby around lol... take care

How did your class go? Was Jason bored? I can't see Jeremy being too excited about it.

How was class, I am glad you found a nice place for childcare. Don't feel bad if you have a hard time letting go that is just being a Mom.
