My pups...

They were both so tired the other night, they tried curling up on the same bed - never happens! It was so cute, I had to take a picture! Guiness decided to look up at me at the last second...

I just realized that I completely forgot to post about their new living quarters! This is their 3rd week with a "pen" out in the garage. Jason built them a 6x8 foot pen in the garage (now that Mr. El is gone, we have room!) He installed a dog door in the garage wall that leads out to the backyard (he even put a ramp there so they don't have to jump down to go outside!) They got 2 nice new beds, 2 blankies, and another old fleece one that butts up to one of the sides of the pen, where he made 2 holes - each hole has a section of the space heater next to it, blowing in warm air so they don't freeze. They actually have it pretty well off. They get a treat each morning before I leave, and they have toys to play with and access to the backyard at any time to do their business. I only wish we had room to do this earlier so that my couch, love seat, and part of the kitchen floor weren't destroyed, but too late now. Unfortunately, Guiness has already chewed up both of their new beds, and at this point, I have to say "too bad!" They aren't getting any more if all he's going to do is destroy them. I'm just waiting for the blankets to be next...
