I feel like it's been a really long time since my last post! Auntie Steph came to visit last week, and we had a lot of fun. Much to my delight, she held Anthony, watched him for me, fed him, and even changed some diapers! She made dinner for us every night and was such a big help around the house... I was really sad to see her leave! (more cause I miss her, not cause she did so much!) And, she also helped me pick out a dress for my friend Lauren's wedding. It's coming up on me fast, and being a "big" girl anyway, I really feel like a cow after giving birth and the last thing I wanted to do was go buy clothes. We ended up finding something pretty cute - thanks sis!
This past weekend, I was trying to get some extra sleep while Jason was watching Anthony. Unfortunately, he was right next to me in bed, so that didn't work too well. I looked over and here was Anthony, with his thumb in his mouth! I know I've posted a picture on this before, but he RARELY does it, so I think it's hilarious when I actually catch him.
He's getting so big! His naps are shorter now and he really only has one long one a day.. maybe that's why I'm not at the computer so much! He's smiling at me now, and he's even laughed a few times. I LOVE that I'm getting to spend these first few months with him.

cute picture. just like his auntie huh! sounds like your having a great time being a new mommy. im happy steph did so well with him. i knew once she saw him she would :) its much different when its your niece or nephew, or im sure your own for that matter. happy to hear your all doing good trish!

So glad to hear Steph's experience was a good one :) I think it's great that you've been able to stay home so you can experience as many of those "firsts" as possible.
It looks like he has a little more hair. Love the blue outfit~ You should post a picture of your dress, I wanted to but I didn't want to take your thunder. It looks so great on you, did you get the shoes?
He is getting so big! The thumb-sucking picture is too cute, and I recognize his outfit! :) I'm so glad you're bringing him to the wedding after all. And I'm glad you love your outfit, I'm sure you'll look great!
