Didn't post much last week since I was still trying to get better from being so sick. Anthony still had his cough, so I decided to have him rechecked, just in case. I took him in Friday afternoon, and what do you know? He has his first ear infection! Poor guy. Also, he had gained 1 lb. in 2.5 weeks!! Crazy! I can't believe how much he's growing. I'm also a bit concerned that he's going to be WAY over the 20-22 lb. mark at a year old...you would think he would slow down at some point, right?
We had a nice weekend. It's reached the "really stinking hot" temperatures here in Boise, and I don't enjoy going upstairs and seeing the thermostat say 80 degrees in our house! Makes it hard to sleep. Yes, we have A/C, but since the sun doesn't go down until 10 - 10:30pm, it stays warm until it's dark and then it can finally cool down.
We got a lot done, even though Jason had to work Saturday morning, evening, and Sunday morning, too. I don't like summer construction much! But we got our downstairs carpet shampooed (and I will NEVER rent a Rug Doctor again!), the emissions test on the car, which failed and now we have to take it in to the dealer, grocery shopping, bought my new tennis shoes, and ran errands. We even had a chance to stop by Lowe's and check out new kitchen appliances, countertops, fixtures, etc. Our escrow close date got moved back to July 15th, but it's going to be here so fast!
One of our chocolate brown cala lillies came back this year! I was shocked because I thought it had died during the winter, but it's taken off and looks great. While I was out pulling weeds yesterday, I noticed that the wasps had started to form a nest in the eaves on our front porch, but luckily we had some spray from last year, so Jason took care of that. I really hate the bugs during summer. We've had a lot of earwigs find their way into the house lately, too. Ew!
And last but not least, I had my caliper testing this morning! I had finally made peace with it, so it was no big deal at all, thanks also to my friend Kerri for the info and encouragement! I've got a long road ahead of me, but I know where I need to be. My chiropractor actually offered to give me my workout plan, which I gladly accepted, so I'll be getting that this afternoon. Wish me luck! :)

Sounds like you have been busy! I'm glad your lily came back! I'm sorry but I don't feel too bad for you that just NOW your house is hitting 80, ours has been there for months! :) Good luck on your workout trek, you can do it!
Gosh you guys sound as busy as us...and we have been running the a/c non stop since may lol it may have to do with some pregnant woman in this house lol. and good luck with your work out, you can do it!!!
Good luck with your workout plan!!! Let me know how it works - I may borrow it. ;)
And don't worry about Anthony being beyond the 20 lb. mark at 1 year. Ethan reached that 2-3 months before he turned 1, and look at him, he's as healthy as can be.
