Dilemma

Why do I always make things a bigger deal than they are? I've been wanting to get back to church, but I am anxious/nervous/concerned that as soon as we get there and all is quiet, Anthony will start crying or get fussy... babies do that all the time in church, right? I know there's a room in the back where you can take babies, but I'm pretty sure it's just for moms, and it's not like I want to leave Jason out in the auditorium all by himself. It's not like they're going to kick us out, but these are the stupid kinds of things I think about.
ugh. I just need to get over it!
In other news, Monday marked my 4-week point for the BFD Fitness Challenge. To date I am down 10 lbs! Yay! I'm pretty sure I'm in the lead, at least out of the ladies in the office with me. Feeling good and I'm kicking it up a notch with the workouts, too.
Tomorrow we are going to look at some paint that Jason's painter has leftover. I guess it's the really good stuff, and he'll give it to us for free, so I hope I like the colors!

thats great that you lost 10lbs! congrats! and about taking anthony to church...i think its a dilema to all moms about taking their child somewhere and them fussing :)

I don't really think him fussing is that big of a deal. He is a baby, no one is going to get mad if you just take him to the back when he's upset. It's not like you are taking him to a movie. Different! Plus, Jason can sit out there by himself for a few minutes, he'll survive! :) Way to go, I'm proud of you for your 10lb loss. I know how hard it is! Keep up the good work!

10Lbs is quite the accomplishment.
Way to go! You know doubt is just the devil trying to keep us from doing what we know to be right. People are used to little ones crying in church. Jason is a big boy and if he doesn't feel comfortable sitting there, have him take Anthony out. Alot of the guys here do that. I have struggled many times when Ash was little with her snoring. It was embarrassing but I always felt better when I went.

That's right! I remember her snoring. How funny. I'll let you know how it goes!

I will be praying for you but I know it will go good. You might even find some of the older ladies think they are grandma to every little baby that comes.

Hey Trish,
I think that Anthony will be fine and if you take him he will get used to the idea of being quiet when its time for church I know that all the women here think it is cute if a baby fusses (I don't know why) but I think they can deal! As for jason he should be fine by his self. I beleive we did just recently attend his 30th birthday.

I know everyone has already said it, but just take Anthony to church. Most people don't mind babies, and sometimes, you don't even have to go all the way to the back room. Sometimes just standing up and walking back there is enough to calm them down. Besides, you'll want to start practicing now. Its way more difficult when they are 3. :)
