3-day weekends (or any for that matter!) just go by entirely too fast! Jason had to work the morning of the 4th, but it's not like we did much anyway. He still got to make his homemade ice cream, so he was happy about that. :) As for fireworks, Anthony's still too young to enjoy things like that, plus loud noises aren't good for him, so we decided not to even spend the money. We could see the ones downtown from upstairs, plus our neighbors provided quite the entertainment, too!
We spent some more time looking at appliances, color schemes, furniture, tile, countertops, carpet.... the list goes on! I'm excited, but a little nervous about picking all of this stuff out - I'm not an interior decorator, to say the least! I'm just glad Jason is agreeing to color on the walls! We'll be doing our final walk-through this week, and then escrow closes next Tuesday! Ah!
Last week, Jason set up Anthony's jumperoo. He LOVES it!!! I was a little nervous about him using it already, but he holds his head up pretty well on his own now, and can touch the ground when he's in it, and those are pretty much the only requirements. He's also taken to sticking out his tongue and talking and/or blowing spit everywhere. It's quite humorous. So here's the latest and greatest!

So much fun that he crashed! It was SO funny... all of a sudden he's quiet and Jason goes over to check on him, and he's OUT!

Grandpa and I think he is growing so fast and we aren't there to
share in the special times. (Which would be ALL of the time.)
