Scrapbook Group No More

Last night was the final scrapbook club group night. We've decided to call it quits for now. I think some of us wanted to continue, but we would have had to give another 6-month committment and our monthly cost would have gone up quite a bit with fewer members.
Our project was pretty fun last night. We learned a lot of new techniques, and even though I didn't get home until after 10pm, it was well worth it. Below is the picture of a couple of pages (not mine exactly - my sand is a little bit different - they were taken from our leader's website, but you get the idea)

I was the hostess for the evening, so I'm excited to wrap up the show (one member was missing) and get my free goodies! I rarely have time to spend on this stuff anymore at home, so I guess my next event to look forward to will be in September when she unveils the new catalog. Seems like a long time to wait!!

I love those pages, you do such great work. I'm thinking of starting the Family Heritage one
before the holidays. I'm going to be busy with the toy drive for the Domestic Violence shelter, and Socks for Soldiers and this fall, I'm going to help with the Victim
Witness Program so, closer to the holiday's won't be an option to do it. Love you, Mom

You should! It would be a fun one to do.
I'm glad you're continuing on with those programs - so proud of you! :)

Those are really cute pages!! I wish I had time to do more scrapbooking...seems like I only do it when I go camping with my mom and when I have a project I HAVE to get done (like a gift).
