The next one is more of a close-up video, basically of the same thing. I think he finally started catching on!
Saturday morning Jason went over to the new house to do some demo in the master bathroom. He came back around lunch time, and that afternoon, we all decided we were tired so we took naps! What a nice change. :)
Sunday morning was Anthony's first church service! A lady I work with invited us to go sometime to her church, Calvary Chapel. Unfortunately, she's out of town right now, but we decided to go anyway. Anthony did SO well! He only started fussing right as they were serving communion (of course!!) but then he took a short nap and chewed on his chew toy the rest of the time, even though we were overdue with his feeding. The singing was beautiful, even though I only knew one song, and I really enjoyed the pastor's sermon. It was one of those times where you know you were meant to hear what he had to say. It's a HUGE congregation; we ended up going to the first service. They actually have a full-on coffee bar and patio area before you enter the sanctuary!
After church, we went back home, fed Anthony and went out again to get some errands done. We went to Babies R Us and picked out Anthony's new crib, but haven't bought it yet. It will require all of the seats in the Acadia to be folded down, so Jason will pick it up soon. Then we went to Wally-World and Anthony got lots of veggies. We're going to make the rounds again and see if he really DOES hate green beans! :)
Yesterday I got home late because of payroll issues at work, and Anthony had received 2 packages in the mail! The first was from Grammie and Gramps - 2 ADORABLE outfits. I thought for sure they weren't going to fit him, but I tried them on him this morning and the overalls fit on the last button! Yay! I was hoping we weren't going to have to take them back because they are so cute! The second package was from the Robinsons! Anthony got his first pair of church shoes, a Nike shirt and some athletic shorts to match, and a striped "Dig" polo with khakis! All are bigger sizes, so it will be a little while before he can wear them, but everything is so cute!! Thanks to everyone! Such a thoughtful family.
Below are some cute pictures I took this weekend:
I love both of these! The first one you can totally see the slobber all over his face! The second one, he was sitting next to Jason on the couch, and it looks like he was waving to me!

It's cute how he looks at the camera when you're hiding from him..and I love the second photo where he looks like he's saying "hi" to everyone looking on this blog. I just want to pinch his chubby little legs!! I love seeing all the outfits you dress him up in and the little shout outs to the people who send them..maybe mommy will get a package one day...
Gramps says: He can't wait to bounce him on his knees and hear him laugh, we so much appreciate the speakers we have with the new computer so we get to hear him when you post the 30 sec. video's.
We loved them . Thanks for keeping
us updated. Yeah, for his outfits.
Counting the days.........
He looks so big sitting there like a toddler. It is cute how he looks at the camera. Glad to hear you tried church. I knew Anthony would be fine. What is Calvary Chapel. Is that baptist? What was the sermon about. I think the minister is talking to me all the time. They actually have a coffee shop or they just have fellowship with coffee? I know I am nosy. Love to all.
It's a non-denominational Christian church, and yes, they actually have a coffee bar when you walk in! They have a seating area where you can enjoy your coffee before church, and there are big screens where you could actually sit out there during the service, too. I saw a few of the older people doing that.
I think my friend goes to a church like that, they have a gym for church members, coffee and the screens, they charge for stuff though there is no free coffee or fellowship it is like a store and I can't go for that so I haven't attended there. I call it the mega church. There are alot of members. This one sounds pleasant and it is good you found something you like. I know it is hard to find the right one.
