Yes, it's true. Another month has gone by! I had to take Anthony to the doctor yesterday. We were all a little concerned that he has been EXCESSIVELY spitting up the last week or so. Thought maybe it had some weird thing to do with his teeth coming in, but nope. He's a healthy, happy baby boy. Apparently with all of this new movement and trying to sit up, etc, he is just too full to keep all of his food in his tummy! His doctor gave the analogy of a full water bucket: you start moving it around a lot, and the water inside has to go somewhere! So we're going to try a little less formula in his bottle and see how that goes. He weighed in yesterday at 20lbs, 3 ozs! Last weekend we went ahead and bought his new convertible car seat, so at 22lbs, he'll be ready for it. He'll still be able to sit rear-facing in it until he's a year, then it will convert to forward-facing until he reaches a certain age/weight when he can be in a booster seat.

I had a hard time getting him to smile - he just wanted to STARE at the camera!

Poor little guy - you can see the band-aid on his arm. He started toppling backwards at one point and I tried to grab both of his arms. I ended up scratching him with my nail. He CRIED! I felt so bad I wanted to cry, too!

Look at how big he is getting and how grown up looking already. He is looking more like a toddler everyday. When Ash was about that age I was trimming her nails and accidentally got skin. I felt the same way almost like crying or maybe I did knowing me but she was fine.

He's adorable - and he weighs almost as much as Kyra! They grow too fast, so enjoy every minute - and take lots of pictures! My two are starting preschool next week...already!

Looks like he recovered just fine from the scratch, love his smiling, laughing adorable little face! Won't Grannie just think you're really starving him now!
