Slacker

Can you believe we're going to be moving into the new house in 10 days?! As my sister would say, I've been slacking on my picture duties. I feel kinda lame even posting these since they were from last week and SO much more has been done since then. But, at least you will have an idea of what our granite looks like.

Here's a small section that they had to put up in the kitchen before the oven could be installed.

And here's the granite around the fireplace. I think it looks SO good!

I walked in last night to find that all of the painting was almost done. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the gray walls! It makes everything look so bright and clean now. No, I didn't have my camera with me cause I was on my way home from work and picking up Anthony. They also are almost finished with Anthony's room (same colors as his nursery now) and the master bedroom - think browns. I love everything so far.

So the painting will be finished up today and then the carpet is being installed tomorrow. Jason's parents will be back on Friday, and Saturday Aida and I will clean the house, top to bottom! (well, except the basement) They were so much help this past weekend, and I'm really grateful to have them come back for over a week! The movers will be at our house on the 11th at 9am, and the best part - we have renters!!! They are moving up from Southern Utah on the 17th. A family of 5, dad works out of the area for 28 days and then comes home for 14, so mom is by herself with the kids a lot of the time. I think that would be really hard, but it sounds like it works for them. Anyway, I'm very pleased with how everything is turning out. I will try to take more pictures this week!

Well, it looks great even though I can't really see the colors that well. Not a lot of pictures! :) Can't wait to see it in person!
