Weekend Events

Clean, clean, clean! And we're still not done! But at least a LOT got accomplished at the new house this weekend. We were also able to get our new kitchen flooring installed for the renters. Didn't realize it was going to create a huge dust mess for me to clean up, but oh well. It all got done, and I'm happy about that. Still seems like we have so much to do, though!

I really love our new carpet. Still not sure that it looks great with the gray walls, but it definitely looks good in the master bedroom. I actually took some pictures! (nothing had been cleaned yet, and carpet was still being layed, but it was at least rolled out)

Master bath, or at least the opening for it! Tile work, new granite, tile floor. Wayne had this wood panel for the bathtub made for us this past week by his cabinet maker... I didn't even realize until he had it installed that he was doing that for us! Thank you!!

Very dusty granite in the kitchen, but it's all in! Turned out great, too. I know, it's hard to see the actual colors in it.

The small purple section in our kitchen, to go with my wine theme. Cilda made me some curtains out of this color material I picked out, too. Can't wait to hang them!

So that's it for now. Appliances apparently got installed last night after I had already left. Unfortunately, most of Jason's time this weekend was taken up with working, and then supervising the flooring guy at the current house, who brought kids with him each day. Kinda frustrating cause he was supposed to get a lot done at the new house, but luckily he has his dad here to help, so I'm sure evenings will be spent trying to wrap stuff up, like lights! Movers are coming on Saturday!!
