Christmas is in the Air

Monday night I finished decorating the inside of the house for Christmas. It will be so nice to come back from Thanksgiving and have it all done. I snapped a few pictures to share:

Our (fake) tree - have to say it's nice not having the pine needles everywhere, especially with Anthony rolling around the floor, but we'll eventually start that tradition again when he gets older

My fireplace area - I LOVE this space for decorating! We've got the snowman theme going on here. Oops, I just realized that I didn't change my calendar to reflect the REAL # of days until Christmas!

This is our entry way. We bought this table (it's really pretty underneath the table cloth!) and mirror and got it hung last week.

Here's a really crappy photo of our lights outside! Couldn't get it to turn out any better. I promise it's really cute, though! You can kinda see little Christmas trees along our pathway, on the right. The other side are little Santas. Those are my favorite new purchases this year. :)

And here's the little guy, looking all tired and sick, poor thing. He was coughing so bad this morning he yacked all over me... got it down my shirt, in my bra, in my hair... great way to start the day!

I thought he would be really into the train that we put up around the Christmas tree, but he just watched it. Didn't get much of a reaction, so it's a little uneventful.

We're leaving this afternoon for Sacramento. I'm really not looking forward to the drive! Hopefully weather is good and we can get there quickly. I have so much to be thankful for this year, so I will just keep those things in mind when we hit around the 8th hour. :) Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Have a safe trip, we can't wait to see you guy's. Everything looks really good with the decorations, I can't believe you have everything done already. I will have to get with it.

Some of those decorations look familiar, I think they are in my house too! :) I miss the PL days! Everything looks great! I LOVE the outside, what I can see anyway, those little path lighters are so cute. I saw a set at Rite Aid with pooh, piglet, and tigger for $6.99! I really want to get some and decorate the outside myself but we don't even have any plugs out there. Only two in the back and one doesnt work! Great job, hope to see you this weekend!
