Never enough time

The title of today's blog is exactly how I feel these days. There is NEVER enough time to get everything done! The weekend went by so fast, and we did a lot of fun things, but something always gets left out.
Friday night I had some friends over for scrapbooking. I finished Anthony's memory box. Ideas of things to put in it:

- His first pair of booties

- Camo shorts from Grandpa

- Tags from the hospital and NICU

- Baby spoon

- Bib (although most are VERY well used at this point)

What are some other good ideas?

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I had a pattern to go off of, but I picked out all of the colors and embellishments to use, since the one I was going off of was pink!! His picture will go in the upper green square... just have to decide which one to use. Maybe when he turns 1 year old.

Saturday we did some errands, got my eyebrows waxed, rotated the tires and got an oil change for our upcoming trip (looks like it's going to snow!!) and had friends over for dinner on Saturday night, which was a lot of fun. I think we finally made it to bed around 1am!

Yesterday we started the decorating process for Christmas. Yes, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I wanted to do it now because we won't get home until late Sunday night, and the following weekend I have lots of events going on, plus now we might have company, too. And we're leaving the 20th for Christmas in CA, and I wanted to be able to enjoy the house for at least a couple of weeks. The outside is completely done, but when I went to take a picture last night, it was so foggy that it didn't turn out! That's funny because we rarely ever get fog here. I have to say Jason did an awesome job, and we even have a light switch inside that will turn everything on! No more going out in the cold to do it!

The tree is up, but no ornaments yet, and Anthony's train is put together. Jason had to get 6- C batteries for it, though! I started unpacking all of my PartyLite Christmas decor, and by the time I knew it, it was time to feed Anthony, put him to bed, workout, iron work clothes, do the dishes, make the bed with freshly washed sheets, take a shower and go to bed! So I was bummed I didn't get to finish my inside decorating, plus I had brought work home to do and didn't get ANY of it done. Didn't even LOOK at it, actually. Oh well, I guess. Today is another day to be productive.

I get it now! When you cut his hair you could put that in it. Mom saved our first hair cut.

That is really cute. You will have to post pictures of your decorations in the new house. I put together some frames of Anthony's pictures last night. They are so cute. I think he has to have his own wall.

Man, I KNOW what you mean about not enough time! I read all that you and Steph get done in a day and I think, wow! I mean, all that you did after putting Anthony to bed takes me all day!! And it's just me, no husband or kids. I'm screwed!
