Thanksgiving Trip

It's funny how 4 days can seem like quite a bit of time, and once it's over, you're just not sure where it went!

Our trip was a lot of fun, as far as getting to see everyone. Getting there and back... not so much. We now know that Guiness gets car sick (yes, every time, and multiple times), Rusty has a panic attach for about 1/2 hr, and Anthony doesn't do so well after about 6 hours! But we made it home in one piece, and let me just say, there really is no place like home!

Anthony was the center of attention the whole weekend, which of course is right up his alley. :) He got to see all of Jason's family, Jason's best friend Jason, Chris & Greg and their 2 kids, Anne & Steve, the Robinsons, and Auntie Steph!

We of course had to take some pictures to share for those who couldn't be there.

Here he is in his "Gobble, Gobble" bib - this was actually at the end of the day and he was starting to poop out

He had just woke up from his nap, and we had to get dressed up to meet everyone! I LOVE this sweater vest and shirt.

Smiling for the camera, with his adorable Pooh bear bib!

Smiling with mommy and daddy

Laughing and playing with his Zio Jeremy

Too much turkey! The dogs took the opportunity to nap on daddy. They did pretty well, considering they don't really like kids and they kept being chased by them, or in Guiness' case, they would take his ball and not give it back! (If you know Guiness, this is the ultimate torture!!)Rusty did a little too much barking, and I saw his protectiveness of Anthony come out a few times, too. But now that the trial run is over, we can be more prepared for next time!
