Mini-Trip

We had a fun trip this last weekend. We drove down to Steph's house for a few days. Mom and Dad were able to come down, too, and we had a great time.

Taken with my cell phone - Anthony on the car ride to Auntie's house

Steph got a Wii for her birthday, and let me tell you, it's addicting! We played Tennis and Bowling, mostly, and Jason and I both loved it. I felt like a wuss the next day with a sore arm!

Here we were waiting for Grammie so we could take a walk down to the market...Auntie & Grandpa are playing Mario Cart

My family also decided to give me MY birthday present, early... it was a new digital camera! I was SOOO excited. Mine will barely even take a charge anymore. I have such an awesome sister who picked it out! I haven't tried the video portion of it yet, but we're hoping I will be able to load better videos onto the blog than the old camera. The camcorder is great, but the files are just too large to share.

Anyhoo, Anthony had a good time as well. He is still teething, with no results, and can be a bit cranky at times. He also likes his binky when he's teething, too, and if you know him, you know this is out of character!

Here he is trying on an outfit Grandpa & Grammie got for him for warmer weather

And I have to say this is one of my new favorite pictures of him - love the half grin!

Here he is on the car ride home

He had a hard time getting back into his routine when we got back. He didn't want his milk, had a hard time with naps... not sure, maybe it's his teeth. He's also really congested again, so we'll have to keep an eye on that. Found out this week that his little girlfriend doesn't go to his daycare anymore, and also that our favorite teacher of his is moving down to the baby room! Supposedly the one he is getting is supposed to be great - she's moving from the 2's room - but it's hard because you finally get used to somebody and then they change it on you!

We're working on walking more, and eating more solid foods. I would love to be off of the jar food completely by 16 months, but we will see how he does.

I'm plugging along at work. We're now in full swing at the new office. I am part of the implementation team for a new system we are getting, which will really help payroll a lot, but also means no vacation for me until at least September. We were planning a big trip in June, but now I'm not sure that is even going to happen.

Jason is leaving next week for several days to go to his 15-year high school reunion. Seems weird that that much time has passed for him! Anthony and I will just be hanging out for Mother's Day; hopefully it will be nice weather. It's funny because he will play on the grass at daycare, but not at home - he cries and cries! Sounds like me... :)

He's looking more and more like a little boy rather than a toddler each time I see new pics of him! And I just have to say that I love his blonde head of hair!
