Weekend

Our Easter weekend was a good one. Anthony is a little sick and teething, but nothing too terrible. Saturday we hung out together; he is all over the place. I can't imagine how much more that will be true when he's walking! Saturday evening my friend came over to scrapbook. She brought her daughter with her, who will be babysitting Anthony next week while Jason and I go to a comedy show. They hit it off really well. He has met her several other times, all when he was younger, though, and not so clingy to mommy.

Sunday morning we went to church. Anthony loves the music and singing, although I have to say it was really loud yesterday. They had a whole brass section playing hymns and the singing seemed louder than usual. He of course wanted to be fussy during communion and the sermon, but mommy was thinking and brought along snacks so he could eat and not be loud!

Before we left, he got one of his Easter toys. (He got the other one last weekend - a huge stuffed bunny, holding a baby bunny) I swore I would never get my kid stuffed animals, but I saw this one and knew he had to have it.

Isn't it adorable? I always had a fascination with dinosaurs when I was younger... my family will probably remember the orange one from Sprouse-Reitz that I just HAD to have! (Auntie - see his pj's?)

Here he is giving him a hug. :)

So after church, we picked up some donuts (yum!) and went home. I made Jason his new favorite - pumpkin cookies - and put a turkey in the oven. (For you traditionalists, we're not really ham-lovers)

One of our neighbors came to the door and complained about our dogs barking, and that he hasn't been able to enjoy his back yard since we moved in. Sorry, but most of those months were WINTER!!! Regardless, we are trying to find a solution. For now, Jason is squirting their mouths with lemon juice when they bark unnecessarily.

Overall, a good weekend and now it's Monday again and back to the grind. I'm in my new office (new location) and all of my boxes are unpacked and put away. Hoping it will be a good week.

How annoying about your neighbor. That would stress me out. Hopefully the boys start to behave! Little A looks so cute in his pj's, love the stuffed animal. Do you still have that dinosaur?

Anthony is so cute as usual. It sounds like you had a good Easter. We spent it with our SJ family and it was fun as usual. Why do neighbors have to be so grumpy. Hopefully he will get used to the dogs.
