Today my baby boy turns 18 months, and is quickly approaching toddler-phase! After getting off to a rough start last week with a rash and slight fever that ended up being nothing, the week got even worse for him! He is traumatized by his new classroom, surroundings and lack of familiar routine. To top it off, he started teething so bad last week that he got sores all around his mouth and a rash on his cheeks! He was drooling so much saliva that it would just cover the front of him. He would cry all evening, and woke up almost every hour crying during the night. I felt so bad; it's so sad when they are in that much pain. It looks like it's the bottom eye teeth that are coming, but nothing has popped through yet. He seemed a little bit better this weekend and today was still not good when I dropped him off, but I can tell he wants to go play or sit at the table to have his cereal. I'm confident we'll get there!
Tomorrow is his doctor's appt, so I'll be posting his stats sometime this week.
