Thanksgiving was a fun time this year as usual. The drive to and from Sacramento couldn't have been better, minus the minor ticket that Jason got!
It was quite the crowd this year, with 47 people in attendance! I helped decorate the table this year, which was a first for me.
Earlier this year I had volunteered to make the name cards, which ended up being a BIG ordeal, but a super fun one since I love to scrapbook and make cards. Here is how they turned out:
The boys were in green and the girls in sorbet. I was very pleased with how they turned out (and Aida, too, which is all that really matters, right?) :)
Anthony wasn't quite ready to get up for Thanksgiving dinner, which we had around 3:30, but he warmed up after a few minutes, and I was able to get a big smile.
Here he is with Zio Jeremy, enjoying one of Mommy's pumpkin cookies

May was definitely his favorite person on Thanksgiving. He would NOT let her put him down! It was very sweet, but I think May's arms were sore the next day. :)
He also had fun with cousin Skylar, although the first day he pushed her down in the garage... oops. Not too friendly! But here he is sharing his goldfish crackers with her, so I think they made amends. :)

He's very much in the "helper" phase right now. Here he is helping Nonna put away extra drinks the next day.
Friday evening we all went down to the front of Rancho Murieta for the annual tree lighting and to see Santa. Anthony LOVED the music and performances, but was very impatient waiting in line to see Santa, so Nonna and Shelby walked him around. He was having a great time until it was our turn. I told him Santa was going to give him some candy, but that didn't really work, as you can see from the picture below...
There's always next year....
Like I said before, though, he did love the music and performances.
Anne and Steve got to come over for a visit on Saturday. It was great to see them, even for a short amount of time, and we so appreciated them driving over, especially since Steve left for Shanghai the next day! I often wish we lived closer!

Through horrible traffic and annoying drivers, Auntie Steph was still able to make it over to visit on Saturday. Unfortunately, Anthony was not really aware that Auntie only had a short amount of time to visit him and didn't give her much attention, but I for one was glad to have a good visit with one of my best friends. (and we got a cute picture!)
