Through the snow and ice, we made it home for Christmas once again this year. We decided to do the drive in one day, both there and back, which made it seem a little better, but 14 hours was a LONG drive for all of us!
We had a great time with everyone, and Anthony has now officially started saying Grandpa and Grammie, although in his own way. :) We'll see what their names end up being.
Grammie had some fun glasses that he just couldn't pass up trying on. :)
We had a good time at Grannie's house on Christmas Eve. The white elephant exchange was fun, but poor Alicia was not too happy with her elk sausage! Grannie made all of us some Christmas place mats again, and I was super excited to add to mine from last year!

Anthony & Grandpa

Anthony with the Wiese girls

Since Anthony isn't quite old enough to participate in the white elephant fun, he got a very soft leopard, which he adores almost as much as his puppy.
Later that evening, he got a fun animal book from Auntie & Uncle
On Christmas Day, he had many presents to open, although I think he opened presents every day he was there! As you can see, he had to eat a snack first to have enough energy to get through them all!

Anthony was awake this year for fondue dinner, so he got to participate in the festivities. He did a great job, too. Here he is showing me his grape.

I think this is the first year I remembered to take a picture! We all love this tradition and it seems to get better each year!
We are so thankful to have been able to make the trip home and visit with family. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, and I hope to pass some of that along to my little guy.

On behalf of all the little children, we want to say a
heartfelt "THANKS" for all the toys that were sent from Boise.
You, Jason and All your college friends who took the time to care, to bring some joy Christmas morning to them. We broke the record this year because of the kindness of so many.
It was a great Christmas this year! Little guy was so cute opening his gifts, it is so fun to see him grow and change! Can't wait to see you all again!
I'm just glad that the elk sausage was appreciated by Uncle Bub. It's always fun to see the things we come up with for the exchange. I just have to get Jake over his lameness cuz I don't want to have him just watching us every year.
