Anthony's "Actual" Birthday

Anthony's birthday was fun this year. I baked cupcakes for his class and took them in that morning - white cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles! He now knows what cupcakes are and the next morning, asked for one for breakfast.
Luckily he was in a pretty good mood that morning. Some days you just never know!
After school, we picked him up and went to our usual Wednesday evening chiropractor appt. He loves Dr. Lewis and gave a big smile while being adjusted!
After the chiropractor, we took him to Iceberg for dinner. It's a fast-food diner place, not the kind of place we typically visit, but they have great grilled cheese and we wanted to get him his first milkshake!
Here he is enjoying his grilled cheese....
And here he is thinking, wow, that ice cream is really cold!!! His milkshake ended up being one he needed to eat with a spoon, it was so thick! He really didn't eat much of it; I think the cold part threw him off after a few bites.
But judging from his cheesy smile, I think he enjoyed his birthday dinner. :)
When we got home, we had a small present for him to open.

It was this great wooden puzzle, with farm animals. He loves it and we play with it at least once every day.
We had his big party yesterday, so I'll be posting more soon!
