Pooh Bear & Friends

This past weekend we celebrated Anthony's 2nd birthday in style! Pooh Bear and Friends was the theme.
We were expecting a larger crowd, but due to unforseen circumstances, most of Jason's family was not able to make it. Luckily, we still had Nonna & Nonno, and Aunt Cindy & Uncle Don were able to make the trip, too.
Anthony of course received a ton of gifts, as usual, and so we spread them out throughout the afternoon. It was amazing to even see the difference in how he opened them vs. Christmas - he's quite the professional now! :)
He got a cool sequence toy from Grammie & Grandpa, which stumped a few people...
Some Dr. Seuss books from Auntie & Uncle...
A homemade fleece frog blanket from Cilda & Bud....
And as you can see, TONS of other stuff! Thank you to everyone!!
Here he is smiling as we are singing him Happy Birthday...
Here is his Pooh Bear & Friends cake - isn't it adorable?!
He didn't quite get the concept of blowing out his #2 candle, but I'm sure he'll have it down by next year. Mommy just helped him a little bit. :)
He did a great job with his cake & ice cream this year. He honestly only ate about 5 or 6 bites, and then was done. I think it was because he wasn't feeling that great, cause he's asked for it the past few nights!
There weren't even any fun "messy" pictures this year because he can use his fork so well!
Here he was the next day playing with his Thomas train set from Cindy & Don...

And he also loves his train toy from Grammie & Grandpa.
It's still hard to believe that his 2nd birthday has now come and gone. Let's hope the "terrible twos" pass just as quickly, and then we can slow down a bit! ;)
