Anthony was invited to his first "friend" birthday party on Saturday. He has been in daycare with his little friend, Madeleine, since they were about 9 months old. It was really cute to see their reaction to one another when we arrived - both had big grins on their faces!
She loves Sesame Street, so that was the theme. The decorations were really cute, and Madeleine's mom's best friend flew down from Seattle to make her an Elmo cake, which was quite yummy!
There weren't very many kids there; Anthony was the only one able to make it from daycare, but they had a good time. They got to decorate cookies, which was hilarious to watch. Madeleine was so dainty about everything, and Anthony just dumped out as many candies and sprinkles as he could!!

I couldn't get a very good picture, but Anthony found Madeleine's Elmo camera and was trying to take a picture while Madeleine was opening the gift from him (Elmo book and a Sesame Street play-doh set) - very cute! He had a great time, even though it was during his nap. He was definitely tired that evening, but had fun with Grammie and Grandpa while mommy and daddy went to dinner. :)
