Anthony had his very first day at his new preschool on Monday and he LOVES it! I, of course, was nervous, as I am with most big events in my kids' life so far! But he did great. He walked right in, gave his new teacher a hug, showed her his new lunch box (Chuggington, if you are wondering!) and put it away. Hung up his bag, washed his hands, looked around, and said "Um, can you go now?" to me and Jason! Too hilarious! I love that my 3-year old is so confident. :)
So he will be going Monday, Wednesday and Friday (and yes, Wednesday he asked us the same thing when we dropped him off!) He will be on track to start reading in kindergarten and the curriculum they offer is just amazing. I am looking forward to the structure of the class and the fact that everything they do will be a learning experience (no more movies - yay!) :)
He came home Wednesday and told me that he had a lot of fun at his new school and especially the playground. :) I will take it for now. :) And I asked him both days so far if he knew his new friend's name... like his mother, he did not. Maybe by Week 2. :)
