On November 4th, Rusty turned 1 year old! Yes, I'm a bad mother for waiting so long to post his picture, but what can I say - we've been busy!
For his birthday, he got a trip to PetsMart to pick out a new toy and some treats. I believe he has been very happy with his selection of a new Frog and a huge bone that had maple/bacon flavored filling inside (which was all gone within a few days!)
Today, he went for a visit to the vet to get his yearly shot, and I couldn't believe when he stepped on the dog scale - 13.7 lbs! Wow! Coming from such small parents, I never would have thought he would be this big.
He's been such a great addition to our little family, and I hope the coming year brings him fun, good health, and possibly a new friend in the springtime. :)
