On Tuesday, January 2nd, Jason turned 31. It was a bittersweet day for him. We originally thought we was going to be out of town again, working in Idaho Falls, but late Friday night he was told to meet his project manager in the office Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, he found out Tuesday morning that he was laid off for at least 2 weeks. :( 
So, he filed for unemployment (actually, I did it, being the more computer-literate one) and has been calling around and applying for other jobs this week. So far nothing looks too promising, but I'm sure we'll find out more on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
As you can see, though, he was very happy to get his chocolate mayo cake. :)
