Weekend

Well, I'm finally feeling a little bit better today. It's no fun to be sick, at any time, but when you're pregnant, you don't have a lot of options to help you feel better!

After talking it over with Jason, I was vetoed and we went and picked out paint at Home Depot on Saturday. We got 2 colors - a blue and a green, to match the bedding. He painted yesterday, and it looks really good! He did 2 walls one color and 2 walls the other color. I think after we get the letters, which we've decided will hang above the window, it will be just fine. I will HAVE to get the mobile for his crib, but I think if we don't have the other stuff to match, it will be okay. The paint already adds a lot to the room. I'll post pictures after the second coat goes on and the room is cleared out!

Saturday night was Jason's dinner at The Gamekeeper. He selected ONLY the buffalo this year, much to my surprise, and enjoyed every bite! Mine was really good, too; typically I would have picked a fish entree, but since I can't stand the thought of fish these days, I went with the chicken fettucine. Oh, and I was very happy that the shirt my mom bought me still fits!

We woke up Sunday morning to lots of snow! Well, I guess it wasn't that much, probably only a couple of inches, but it's a lot for us! The first picture is our backyard, and the second is down our street. I'm not sure why they turned out so dark...

A lot of it had already melted by last night, but I got in my car this morning, hit the garage door button and it was snowing again! Luckily the commute wasn't too bad at all, but it's still snowing, 3 hours later, so it could be an interesting drive home....
