New Tradition

I thought since Anthony was old enough this year, we would try making a gingerbread house.
I went to the store to get a kit (then heard that people actually make their own gingerbread for this stuff!) and found a train instead. If you know Anthony, this is perfect for him!! So last Sunday, we set out to put it together.

Well, if Mommy had actually paid more attention to how the pieces went together, it would have fit together better! I guess next time will be better.



But Anthony loved putting on all the pieces of candy, so I let him do that part all by himself. I found the icing mixture really hard to deal with, even though I kneaded it in the bag for a while.

Overall, we had a lot of fun, even though some parts were frustrating!! And Anthony is very proud of his train. So I think this will become a new holiday tradition. :)
