Future Goals

My 3-day weekend was nice and relaxing - a couple of movies, some reading, grocery shopping, card-playing, and just a little bit of cleaning. :)

Jason and I spent Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon test-driving the rest of the vehicles we thought we might be interested in. After weighing all of the factors, I have decided on a Chevy TrailBlazer, SS model. Yes, the SS actually means something. It's a little bit of a sportier model, but the main difference is that it has an awesome engine with 395-horsepower and 400-lbs torque. It kicks some serious butt! It's a 5-passenger AWD SUV, with dark leather interior, the most comfortable seats you will ever sit it in a vehicle, power everything, a sunroof, navigation system, large cargo area, and a great driver information system. I love that vehicles will now tell you when a tire is low. No longer will I have to ask Jason "Honey, are you sure that tire looks okay? Are you SURE it's not too low?"

The only downfall that I can see is that it's not as economical as I would like. But...it is going to be super-reliable, and won't need any work (except oil changes) for at least the first 100,000 miles. I think it will be a great family vehicle, with plenty of room for a car seat and 2 dachshund carriers (yes, I have a lot of goals this year!)

We're going to shoot for fall, and Jason wants me to be able to order one, so hopefully I will have it in time for next winter. No more need for snow chains come Christmas time!

I love it! They were having 0% for President's Day weekend; it was tempting, but no can do right now! :P

I loved my regular Blazer when I had it, and the Trailblazers look even nicer - you'll be happy. We love our Tahoe AND it fits all the stuff for the twins! Good choice!

We just rented one of these to cruise around San Francisco. They are great. It only used 1/2 a tank of gas the whole day and we went alot of places. We are going to buy the Chevy Silverado 4 Door with all the bells and whistles as soon as I pay off the Impala which should be by next winter.
