I can't believe it's already May! Crazy how time flies by. I'm batching it again this week. Jason is in Idaho Falls, but he'll be home for the weekend, so we're both happy about that.
He had his interview with Steed last Friday, and although he thought it went well at the time, he has since learned that a guy he used to work with at K2 was pretty much offered the job on the spot. They are hiring 2 superintendents, though, so I told him not to get discouraged yet. If they want to do a 2nd interview with him, he will get a call next week.
I had book club last night. We all agreed that Midwives wasn't exactly the best book, but no one hated it, either. Good author, but it just didn't grab us. Our next book is The Ambler Warning, by Robert Ludlum. He wrote the Jason Bourne series, which have been made into movies starring Matt Damon. Sounds very suspenseful, with a lot of government intelligence twists and turns. Fun!
Our trip to Reno was short, but fun, excluding the part where Rusty got us kicked out of the arena cause he barked 3 times too many! Oh well. We were getting ready to head back home anyway. It was good to see Jason's parents. They are leaving tomorrow for their trip to Italy, and will be back the day we leave to go to Omaha....speaking of which, it's only 3 weeks away! Yay! I'm very excited to see my sis and her new home.

I am jealous I want to be visiting too. I don't know about those pre-teen dogs. We always joke about that when Twink does something to get into trouble. Although she will be 2 soon so she is out of the teen stage. The book club sounds fun. Annie participates in one too.
