Next on this list.... Anthony hit a milestone on Friday night - he rolled over! Yay! Jason wasn't home for it, so I tried to get Anthony to do it again later on and then again on Saturday, but he wouldn't! Last night, finally, he rolled over again a couple of times. What a cool Father's Day present! Here's a video of him - I barely even turned it on to record and he was already almost over on his back!!Anthony also started his 1st stage veggies this weekend. We tried sweet potatoes, but the two times we tried them, he wasn't impressed. Oh well. On to carrots tonight.
And the last HUGE thing of the weekend... we are buying another house! Yes, it's true. Why, some people have asked me - what's wrong with the one you have? Absolutely nothing. We're actually keeping our current house. The plan is to rent it, which I'm not that excited about, but hopefully we can choose GREAT renters who won't trash it.
Jason found this house at an absolutely incredible price per square foot. Now let me tell you, last week I had a HORRIBLE attitude about the whole thing. I walked inside and was ready to walk out. It's older than ours, built in 2001, and is owned by a single mom with 4 kids. And you can tell that she doesn't/can't keep up with it, so it's dirty (mainly the carpets) and it smells (they have cats and a small dog - which of course I'm not against, but don't let them smell!) The up sides: it's 3417 square feet, the perfect layout on the main level for mommy & daddy and 2 kids (eventually) plus an unfinished basement that will eventually become guest room quarters, game/play room, office/craft room, etc. Jason has BIG plans for this house. He is SO excited. So escrow closes on July 11th. After that, the main level will be cleaned up - new carpets, new paint, new kitchen, new master bath, some flooring, fixtures, etc. We'll move in and then Jason will slowly (but not TOO slow!) work on the basement. I'm trying to have a good attitude and am getting more excited.

Oh, he is so cute! What a sweet little rollover! And he's filled out so cutely, just perfectly chubby! He looks like you in your baby pictures!! I really like the outside of the house you're getting. That's so cool that Jason has this project ahead..congrats!
I am so happy to see the videos it is like we really get to see him changing. Wow, that is quite the house. You will love having that Ipod while you are working out.

Dad and I really like the look of the outside of the house, we thought the inside looked good, much better than what you had told me about. will we have a place to stay?
