It's Monday again...

Even though some days go by slow, the weeks just fly by! I'm really looking forward to my 2 days off in September - can't wait to see family and friends!

We had a good weekend. Anthony got to visit his grandparents and great-grandparents. He woke up yesterday with a snotty nose and crusted eye, but he was still his pleasant self. Everyone just can't believe how big he is and how he is so good-natured!

Jason and his dad and the plumber got a lot done on the master bathroom, and got a lot of the trash taken off to the dump. We went ahead and bought the jetted tub from the plumber for $200 - awesome deal! I went over yesterday and took some pictures of what has been done so far:

This is where the shower is going to go, on the left side of the bathroom; also where the pocket slider door will go in

This is to the right of the shower, where the tub will go. The vanity will be right across from the tub (new wall will be framed in) We're also thinking about putting a glass block window in.

This is to the right of the tub. Jason will build a linen closet on that back wall, and the toilet will be across from it on the opposite wall. A pocket slider door will enclose that room.

I'm really getting excited about it. I think it's all going to look so nice. We picked out our vanity at Lowe's, and ordered our bathroom, tub, and kitchen faucets from Faucets.com - way cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot! Plus they had an additional 5% off yesterday.

We got our estimate last week for our granite and tile work. More costly than we were expecting, most likely not allowing us to get our new living room furniture set. So Jason's grandma decided that this weekend, she was going to repair our couch and loveseat! I didn't get a chance to take pictures last night, but they both look SO much better. We picked out material at Joann's on Saturday, and she just went to town! We actually have sides to the couch and loveseat again!! I wish I had those kinds of skills, but I barely know how to thread a needle! hee hee

A quick update on Anthony: he has found his FEET! So adorable, although now it's getting hard to change his diaper! He wants to grab his feet and hold on; doesn't work very well getting the diaper on and off! Here's a video of him last week - enjoy!

How cute! He almost seems a little confused, like he doesn't know what to do with them yet! I met a 10 month old yesterday that is only 18 pounds! Wow, I can't wait to see how big he is! When will he start crawling? House looks good, we are thinking of that block glass stuff too for our two windows in the bathroom, then it will always be bright and no curtains. I really like that idea, we just haven't priced them yet.

Yup, it's a new thing. He's gotten a little better with them over the past few days.
I know, he's BIG! He definitely had no problems catching up!
We're supposed to price the glass block stuff today... I'll let you know.

Can't wait to see everything finished. Anthony has really grown and it is cute to watch the changes.
