Stats are in!

Anthony had a very good 18-month doctor's visit yesterday. He weighed in at 26lbs, 6ozs (down from the 95th percentile at 1-year appt to the 75th percentile this time!) and 32.5" long (58th percentile, which we honestly thought would be higher since he towers over most of his classmates). He failed the autism screening, which was great news (not that we ever suspected anything, but still!). She also told us that sometime within the next 6 months he will most likely start climbing out of his crib, so to start thinking about a new bed. Wow, already?
He's doing great taking naps on the little cot at daycare, and he's liking his new classroom and teachers better, but still cries when I leave in the morning. We need to start working more on using spoons and forks correctly, but I just have a hard time knowing food is going to end up everywhere, especially yogurt! Maybe a drop cloth would work?

Just give him the fork and spoon. Its going to get everywhere for the next 3+ years. I even know plenty of boys who still spill food on themselves at 40!!! :)
And we got Ethan's bed when he was 32 months. He was NEVER interested in climbing out of it (but maybe Anthony might be). We only did it cause he was so tall, we were afraid he would just topple out.

What a big boy! I won't be surprised if he is taller than Daddy.
